Osvaldo Moizinho, widely recognized as "Queixinho," was born on August 18, 1986, in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. His martial arts journey began at age 8 with judo, establishing a solid foundation in grappling and combat sports. Throughout his youth, Queixinho expanded his skillset by training in multiple disciplines, including luta livre esportiva, muay Thai, and boxing. At 16, he fully committed to Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, marking the start of his dedicated pursuit of excellence in the sport.

Queixinho's Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu career initially flourished under the mentorship of André Terencio, who guided him from white belt through brown belt. In 2008, following Terencio's relocation to Chicago, Queixinho transitioned to the Soul Fighters academy. There, he trained under the team's founding members: Rafael Barbosa, Leandro Escobar, Bruno Mendes, and Augusto "Tanquinho" Mendes. Under their collective guidance, Queixinho earned his black belt in 2011, a pivotal milestone in his competitive journey.

Three months after receiving his black belt in 2011, Queixinho relocated to the United States to pursue professional competition. He quickly established himself as a prominent figure on the international stage, securing victories at prestigious tournaments such as the IBJJF World No-Gi Championship and Pan American Championships. Initially training at Caio Terra's CTBJJA, Queixinho later became the head jiu-jitsu instructor at Gracie Fighter in January 2015, further solidifying his reputation as both competitor and coach.

Queixinho co-founded the Ares JJ team, playing a central role in its strategic growth and competitive success. As head professor at Ares BJJ Goodyear in Arizona, he has mentored numerous athletes, consistently producing champions at major events. Under his leadership, the Ares team notably secured the team title at the 2022 IBJJF Pan No-Gi Championship, reflecting Queixinho's effectiveness as a coach and strategist.

Queixinho is renowned for his analytical and methodical approach to competition, earning him recognition as a tactical mastermind on the mats. His innovative style was notably demonstrated by his memorable rolling loop choke submission against Marcio André at the 2016 IBJJF Pan Championship, a highlight-reel moment showcasing his creativity and technical precision. At the masters level, Queixinho continued to display his submission prowess, capturing the Master 2 featherweight title at the 2022 IBJJF World Master Championship by submitting all five opponents.
